Development of Applications for the Provision of Electronic Services to Citizens and Procurement of Central Infrastructure Equipment to Support the Electronic Services of the Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection

The purpose of the project is the procurement, installation and configuration of equipment and software, in order to:

a) create a Unified Main Central Infrastructure of the 3 Security Forces,

b) create a Unified Backup Central Infrastructure and

c) develop new applications and electronic services using the existing information infrastructure of the Security Forces.


Design and Architecture

The design and architecture of the project takes into account and utilizes as much as possible the existing equipment, software, infrastructure and functions of the 3 Security Forces and implements a modern operational and productive infrastructure in order to address in a unified, economic and secure manner the information support of all Security Forces, for the proposed services to the Citizen.

Within the framework of the project, the creation of new applications with data migration where required is envisaged, in order to offer new or improved and increased services to the Citizen from the unified information service provision environment of the Security Forces.
