Institutional Repository Service at the Technical University of Western Macedonia

This project has as its main objective:

• Upgrading the services provided by the Institutional Repository/Repository of the TEI of Western Macedonia (considered as a single integrated system) as well as developing new personalized services for creating, storing, searching, and organizing content as well as services of a certified and networked Institutional Repository/Repository
• Enrichment of the Institutional Repository/Repository of the TEI of Western Macedonia on the one hand with the retrospective storage of digital content but also with the digitization of printed and special collections, which exist (and are also continuously imported) in the Central Library and in the libraries of the Branches. This enrichment presupposes the creation of a relevant structure-infrastructure that does not exist today.
• The acquisition of an upgraded OPSB, with the inclusion in Subproject 1 of the Horizontal Action – Creation of a Central Infrastructure for the provision of an Integrated Library as a Service Environment.
