Creation of an application and procurement of equipment for the interconnection of a Fisheries Monitoring Centre (FMC) with corresponding Centres of other Member States and the European Commission
Project Purpose:
The project concerns the implementation of an integrated information system for monitoring the fishing activity of obligated fishing vessels for the needs of the Fisheries Monitoring Center of the Coast Guard.
The Operational & Technical Requirements of the new KFA/ALS-EL.AKT included the following interconnection services:
- Interface with the European Commission
- Interface with CFPs of other countries
- Creation of Regional CFPs in:
- Piraeus
- Thessaloniki (Nea Michaniona)
- Kavala
- Patras
- Kalymnos
